The fit is tight, appropriate length both in the back and front. the built in bra is great and not necessary to wear anything under (which is hard to find these days). Bought for a modern dance class and accessory to wear under skirts and whatnot. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)My 7 year old daughter wore these tights for the first time last night and found them very comfortable. She wore them in the regular position with her jazz shoes but did try them briefly rolled up and liked the feeling, but she has worn the footless type to ballet and jazz classes in the past. These are nice because she can decide which way she wants to wear them and change if she wants without having to go get another pair out and get redressed.

Capezio Girls 7-16 Professional Mesh Transition Tight W/Seam Review

(More customer reviews)The professional transition tight seems to be heavier duty fabric than the microfiber tight which I also purchased. For my daughter this is good because she's quite rough with them. I've purchased four pairs in 2 1/2 months.
It has a seam down the back of the leg which much to my surprise fell right into place. I thought it would look crooked and sloppy, but it doesn't at all. It almost seemed to fall right into place with no fussing to get it in place.
The only negative comment I have, is I ordered the ballet pink color, and it's not a soft ballet pink, but more like a coral pink. It's pretty bright, but it looks great with her dance leotard. If it holds up better than her other tights I'll be happy.

They are the most forgiving for different body types, not just suited for the stereotypically waif-like ballerina. Anybody can wear them. I wear them on-stage and off. (More customer reviews)I am an adult skater who needed tights. Another parent recommended these tights so I tried them. I was amazed! They hold up to intense athletic wearing and look great. I also wear them for regular pantyhose purposes. Be advised - they do have a "shimmering" appearance that may not appeal to you. Also, the largest size, 16, just barely fits me, at 5'3." When these tights finally do wear out, I cut them down into skate boot covers. Hope this information is helpful.
